 RP: 93 Points Her 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon comes 56% from her holdings on Mt. Veeder and 44% from the home vineyard on Howell Mountain. It is a blend of 82% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Malbec and the rest Merlot and Petit Verdot. This is another beauty, with a deep blue/purple color and notes of blueberry, blackberry, licorice, charcoal and a touch of graphite. It is full-bodied, nicely layered, with velvety tannin and 2014’s signature up-front, irresistible fruit, charm and overall balance, but without compromising intensity and length.
