A fine bed of supple tannins define this young wine and make it drinkable by day one. Cabernet Franc aromatics prevail throughout: black fruit, white pepper, and spring flowers enveloping your olfactory nerves. Hints of vanilla from our French oak barrels and a touch of oak tannin give this wine a palate weight more akin to Cabernet Sauvignon. Although, this wine is indeed true to its Cabernet Franc backbone; elegant, bright and graceful. Drink now and for many years to come.

The name of the town where Kenzo was born, Asuka signifies a bright future and hope for tomorrow. The first Cabernet Franc from the estate, this has been selected specifically for the vintage. Kenzo Estate’s Cabernet Franc, Asuka, is framed by a glorious red hue, a palate of plush tannins and bright raspberry fruit. The distinctly floral perfume hints at fresh plum and white pepper.
