This fully mature port should be drunk over the next 5-10 years. The Ferreira offerings reviewed in this segment are an uninspiring group of ports. It is much drier than most Ferreira vintages, with more punch and stuffing than the ’82. Deep ruby-purple, showing a perfumed, ripe raspberry nose, full-bodied, with lovely raspberry flavors, full tannins and a medium finish. Best now.
