A meticulous selection of 10 barrels from the most exceptional vineyard sources of Cabernet Sauvignon available. The 2013 Ardore, never fined nor filtered, was aged for 22 months in 100% new French oak barrels. Aromatically intense and multi­dimensional, this wine is at once pure and powerful while flaunting stately elegance. The nose offers a central core of black raspberry, with ripe blackberries, crushed rock, creme de cassis, mocha, and brushed suede leather. Subtle notes of dark chocolate, cinnamon, tobacco and black cardamom add further compliment. The wine is opulent and incredibly intense with gobs of sweet, rich black and blue fruits. This shows beautiful blueberry and blackberry fruit, floral notes mixed with graphite, toast and forest floor. It?s full-bodied, opulent and shows the fabulous focus and density of this vintage.
