Description
The 2008 Blonde de Noirs is a very limited release of a wonderful Sonoma Coast sparkling wine blended from Pinot Noir, Pinot Munier, and Chardonnay. It’s complex, fresh, bubbly and the perfect color for the holiday season.
The photograph on this label was taken by Milton H. Greene in 1954 in his New York studio and is from the "Ballerina" series. It was chosen by Time-Life as one of the three most popular images of the 20th century.
Clothing designer Anne Klein had supplied a white tutu but the bodice was too small. Marilyn just held the tutu up to herself and she and Greene created the famous "Ballerina" portraits—it shows fragility, innocence, and a bit of heartbreak in her expression.
